Quarter 01
Introduction to Visual Design & Branding

Quarter 02
Information Design
This course covers topics such as data visualization, user experience design, and the use of typography and layout to enhance clarity and comprehension. Print Media Design + Photography
Students explore the principles of graphic design for print media, including layout, typography, and color theory. Additionally, the course covers essential techniques in photography, such as composition, lighting, and image editing. Through hands-on projects and practical exercises, participants learn to create compelling visual content suitable for various print formats and digital platforms. This course serves as a comprehensive introduction to the creative and technical aspects of print media design and photography.
Quarter 04
Ad Films
It is a comprehensive course focusing on the art and science of creating compelling advertisements. Students delve into various aspects of ad film production, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, cinematography, and post-production techniques. Emphasis is placed on understanding target audience psychology, brand positioning, and storytelling through visuals and sound. Through hands-on projects and case studies of successful ad campaigns, students develop practical skills in crafting impactful messages that resonate with viewers and achieve marketing objectives. This course equips aspiring filmmakers and marketers with the essential tools to excel in the dynamic world of advertising.

Quarter 05
Data Visualisation
Here we learn to transform complex datasets into visual representations such as charts, graphs, maps, and dashboards. Data visualization helps reveal patterns, trends, and relationships that are often difficult to discern from raw data alone. It plays a crucial role in various disciplines including business, science, academia, and journalism, empowering users to derive insights, communicate findings effectively, and make informed decisions based on data-driven evidence.
Quarter 07
Web Design
It involves various disciplines including graphic design, user interface (UI) design, user experience (UX) design, and front-end development. Effective web design focuses on optimizing the layout, navigation, and content presentation to ensure a seamless user experience across different devices and screen sizes. We also explore HTML, CSS, and possibly JavaScript to understand how to translate design concepts into interactive web pages
Quarter 06
Mobile Application Design
This course covers essential aspects such as user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles specific to mobile platforms. Students will explore topics including navigation design, screen layout, interaction design, and mobile design patterns. Through hands-on projects and case studies of successful apps, participants will gain practical skills in prototyping, wireframing, and designing interfaces that enhance usability and engagement.

Mobile Application Design
The course is completed with a specialisation project for students to demonstrate what they have learned and their expertise, creativity, and ability to apply their knowledge in a practical context, often preparing them for future professional endeavors or advanced academic pursuits.
