What is the career opportunities for anyone who completes the courses from BCDM?We are associated with various IT based companies, Design Companies & MNC's who have a constant requirement for skilled talent. All our courses are designed for the current requirement in the field of design and media. Companies like Tata Elexsi, Google, National Geography, Quikr, Indiamart, Microsoft, Infosys, MI etc and much more have a constant requirement for students specialised in Media and Design.

Does the college provide transport facilities?Being located in a prime area, there is continuous availability of auto, cabs and buses. The distance to area's like the bus stop (1 min), auto stand (1 min), train station (15 mins) and airport (25 mins) makes connectivity a big plus point at our institution. There is also never a shortage of cabs in Bangalore.

What are the facilities provided at the college?We have ICT(Digital Classrooms) enabled classrooms. We have separate labs for each of our courses. We have a functioning physical and digital library.

Does the college have a campus?The college is centrally located and has a wonderful large campus, spread across 2 acres along with a FIFA recognised football turf. There is a canteen on the premises and a facility for parking vehicles also.

Is this course certificate valid and approved by the government?Yes, it is a valid certificate and is approved by the Govt. of Karnataka under DCE.

Do you require a laptop for any of the courses?For the theory section there may not be that much of a requirement, but as most of the courses are practical and skill based, you will definitely need a laptop to learn concepts real time and implement what you learn regularly. As there are softwares being taught in some courses, you will need a system that can handle the computing power to run the softwares - ideally i5 processor with 8-16gb RAM.

What do I receive from college in terms of certificate?College provides a professional diploma on course completion. Students will have a portfolio in photography and cinematography, CV and a video showreel to promote their works done during their time in the college.

How many faculty members are there in each course?We have a minimum of 3 faculty in each department who are highly acclaimed in their subjects. They all come with more than 10 years of experience in their field and have a clear knowledge of their subjects and bring the latest accepted trends and changes into their teaching as well.

Is there job placement arranged by the college?The college ensures in connecting students with companies regarding internship programs and job placement opportunities. Students need to challenge themselves in making a strong portfolio and polished showreels to be prepared for any interviews when visited by companies.

Does the college provide a camera & laptop for Photography & Cinematography?For all the assignments and projects done in college, students will be allowed to use the college equipments in the college premises. It is not mandatory to own a camera prior to the course. Students can purchase it later when they feel confident to own one. On the other hand, a laptop is essential from day 1. For all the software classes and editing related work, a laptop with a minimum RAM of 8GB or higher and good graphics card is needed for all softwares to run smoothly. Windows or Mac OS softwares are accepted.

What is UI UX design?UI UX Design course deals primarily with Website design, App design and software design with coding. All industries have the requirement for a website, some require apps and some require softwares. This course is very relevant for the current times. Once the course is completed, the starting salary is very competitive.
